Sullivan Room is now turned into a multi platform talent outlet, a music label (SR Music Bureau) and event brand, (SR PROPAGANDA!), co –engineered and brought to life with partner Gene (aka Meandisco). With another peak of global appreciation for electronic music emerging, “…he is a perfect candidate to set the standard because he is deeply rooted in the New York dance scene of the late 90’s, early 00’s”, says Sergei “namely his past involvement in historic events at New York Clubs and his professional industry experience.” “Music and the dance scene has been both my passion and a professional career for over 12 years… I have been mostly behind the curtains, but now get back to the roots…” Together, they will synthesize their organic formula to create the vibe that made us coming back and has kept us moving our feet. With weekly visits from their respected global colleagues Propaganda’s return will bring back the electrified atmosphere that is synonymous with our fondest memories of NYC night life. Propaganda Music Bureau is here to bring back the communal nostalgia that drew us into the scene. Although there have been quite a few new venues, bringing a variety of big name artists back to New York, there is a void for the personal touch and sense of belonging, the connection that Sullivan Room has been about since the beginning. “We mourned when Twilo closed, then Vinyl… Sullivan Room is all the true dance scene in New York has left, it successfully carries the torch of that great time…” says Meandisco, “and now SR Serge, takes the club into a new decade without forgetting our roots!” By no means are we trying to bring back the past. On the contrary we are looking to originate a new platform for talent, combinng it with that great vibe we all love…” says Sergei, “connecting the dots between current quality sound, new artists and that dance floor vibe we all miss here in New York”, adds Meandisco.
